This may be a harsh reality, however we have to maintain structure,and morals in an immoral world. Our members share in these values and we Shoulder the responsibility to enforce and hold liable those who dont.

What does it mean?

A business entity is said to be in Good Standing if it has filed all appropriate paperwork with the Secretary of State (or equivalent agency)/ Chamber of Commerce & Industry and it has paid all applicable annual fees that are due to renew its charter. Maintaining good standing for your company is very important.
Certificate of Good Standing is a certificate issued by the Chamber of Commerce & Industry evidencing that a business (corporation, LLC, partnership, etc.) has complied with the applicable provisions of the laws of the state, is in good standing, and authorized to transact business or to conduct affairs .
A letter of good standing is a document that is issued by the compensation commissioner. It is an official statement of a business ability to meet with the various requirements of the act. … The letter of good standing is to ensure authorization of claims from employees against the Compensation Fund.
Not in Good Standing” means the business entity is not in compliance with one or more Maryland laws that apply to businesses and their responsibilities in this State. … If a business was voluntarily terminated, it cannot return to good standing because a voluntary termination is permanent.
